Worship or not????????
A bunch of nuns praying to and kneeling down to a Mary statue......
The pope kneeling down to and praying to a Mary statue.....
The latest of "crying" Mary statues being worshipped by catholics......Are these people "worshipping" Mary??? Are they praying "to" her???
Exd 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth:Exd 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me;Exd 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
What is so hard to understand here??? Am I the only one who gets it???
God does not want us to make any images of anyone in the earth or in Heaven!!! God does not want us to bow down to these images (that we are not supposed to make)!!!
This is the second commandment, yet catholics don't even mention it. Here are the catholic ten commandments......
1)I am the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not have strange gods before me.
2)Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain
3)Remember thou keep the Sabbath Day.
4)Honor thy Father and thy Mother
5)Thou shalt not kill.
6)Thou shalt not commit adultery.
7)Thou shalt not steal.
8)Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
9)Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife.
10)Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's goods.
This is just another case of catholics changing the Bible. They see nothing wrong with this. They don't even think the people above are "worshipping" Mary!?! I don't get it.

You will never get it. Once you humble yourself and accept Mary as the Queen of Heaven & Earth, you will understand.

Nothing from this post came from that .org.
What will I not get? Do you not get the scripture I quoted? Are these people kneeling to these statues? Does the scripture specifically tell us not to do this? Please tell me where I am wrong!!!
The expression "Worship" for Protestants is different than Catholics.
For protestants, you worship someone when:
1- you pray for him
2- you sing for him
3- you preach about him
For Catholics, worship is done at Mass when:
1- they eat the Body and drink the Blood of Christ.
If laying prostrate before the Ark of the covenant was accepted by God & appreciated (Joshua 3:7:6), why wouldn't be the same when we lay prostrate before Mary who was chosen to be the Mother of our Savior?
Mary is the new Ark of the covenant because she contained the New Law, the New Manna, the New staff of Aron. She is the sign of God's presence in our midst.
If you don't see it this way, you will always be scandalized when you see Catholics laying prostrate before the statue of Mary. But if you understand the Ark of the covenant, you will understand Catholics.

I totally agree with the Pastor Jim. Worshipping idols and statues is wrong. And also, all these images you portray of god and everything...
They only add to white supremism I think. Because they are all depicting white people! So pardon me if I don't belive that all humans are equal.. its obvious white people are superior.. in every aspect of life. =P
Sound thoughts. Idolatry is wicked and disgusting.
