What is the truth?

Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words, or He will rebuke you and prove you a liar. Proverbs 30: 5,6

My Better Half !!!

This is my all-time favorite picture of my beautiful wife. It was taken at her best friend's wedding, where she was the Matron of Honor. The little girl was the flower girl. This picture was taken a little over a year ago, and even now, after our son, she could probably still fit in that dress.

THIS is the truth !!!

I started this blog mainly to discuss religion with Angel Anthony. We have quite a few differences in our beliefs. We also have quite a few similarities. We both believe in God, and put our lives in His hands. One of the major things I have realized about internet discussions about religion is that they don't work!!! Everyone just gets caught up in, "I'm right, you're wrong." No one seems to honestly care what God wants. A lot of people do not want to admit to what God says (I'm sure some of you think that about me, as well). I do care. That's why I started this, but it has spiraled out of control. There is so much hate and evil being spewed out on these blogs that it is mind boggling. People who claim to be "Christians." It is sick and disgusting. Therefore, I am taking my hat out of the ring. As far as religion goes, this is not the place for it.

I will continue to talk about my everyday life and my new son. I will talk about my new life. I don't think I have even mentioned on here yet, that I quit my job a couple of weeks ago. My wife has an awesome job, and we could not fathom the idea of strangers raising Matthew. We are new in this town, and we do not know many people, so we had to rely on a day care. Nothing against day cares, but since we have the option, we decided not to use one. So, now I am "THE Mr. Mom." I love it. I got to watch my son roll over for the first time, yesterday. I get to do what not too many other Fathers get to do, be a major part of their child's life.

A lot of people might see this lifestyle as not too "manly", or not traditional, but that is o.k. I see it as a blessing. My wife and I do not have to spend anymore sleepless nights hoping our son will despise us for not being there for him. We don't have to worry about a stranger hurting him (and us having no idea). We actually get to spend these precious moments with our son.

About my job... Right now, I am just taking a couple of months off. Then I will start looking for a part time evening job, or a work-from-home job. If anyone knows of any good ideas for a work-from-home job, please let me know. I've been home with Matthew for a little over two weeks now, and we have bonded wonderfully. We have a schedule down, and we can read each other pretty well. Mom (my wife), of course, babies him to death when she gets home from work ( I don't blame her), but there is no such thing as too much love.

That's about it for right now. I'll leave you with another pic of our son...
