My Kind Of Town............Chicago is

Hello all,

Everything is fine and dandy here!!! My wife and I went to the doctor today to see how Matthew is coming along. He should be here 3 months from tomorrow. The doctor said everything still looks fine! We love to hear his heart beat at the appointments.

This past weekend we decided to take a little trip to Chicago. We stayed at the Inter Continental Hotel on the "Magnificent Mile" across the street from Nordstrams. The location was amazing. We got there Saturday and enjoyed the day walking from store to store and enjoying dinner at the ESPNZone. After dinner they had a firework display right outside of our hotel, so we enjoyed that. Sunday morning we got up and had a nice breakfast at a little cafe called the West Egg Cafe. Excellent food and atmosphere. We walked around a little more and then went to the Chicago Field Museum. Too crowded!!! I would not recommend going there on a weekend. It was still a good time though. All in all is quite a nice, relaxing trip (and needed).

I still don't have my dsl up and running at home. I have been relatively busy and lazy lately, so I hope to get that taken care of next week.
